We’re excited to share that the Foothills Area Health Education Center (AHEC) awarded its third round of First In Family scholarships and ninth round of Intensive Program Scholarships!
Congratulations to Jacob Ortiz and Esmerelda Rivera, our First in Family Scholarship Recipients!
Jacob is a Biology student at Georgia Gwinnett College, and aspires to ultimately become an Anesthesiology Assistant.
Esmerelda Rivera is a Radiology Technology students at Lanier Technical College, and aspires to become a Radiologist.
We are excited to see all these students accomplish!
We would also like to congratulate our Intensive Program Scholarship recipients, Claire Hall and Chloe Tanner!
Claire is a graduate of Franklin County High School and participated in the Piedmont Health Scholars Program. She will be attending North Georgia Technical College to become a Registered Nurse.
Chloe is a graduate of Dawson County High School and participated in the Brenau Medical Scholars Program. She will be studying Biology the University of North Georgia.
