Recruitment for Health Careers
Health Careers Classroom Presentations
Our Health Careers Coordinator travels to high school classrooms throughout our 31-county service area to educate students about resources, educational programs, and health career opportunities in Georgia. Ask your HSTE teacher about scheduling one!
Health Careers Intensive Programs
We partner with universities in our service area to host intensive programs that expose high school students to health careers via hands-on activities on college campuses and that provide an inside look at the lives of college students in healthcare professional education programs.
Intensive programs are designed for students already interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Students must apply and be accepted to participate in an intensive program. Fees vary between programs.
If you have graduated from a past intensive program, you may be eligible for our Foothills AHEC Scholarship. Click here to see all scholarship application requirements.
