Complete the Augusta Housing Request online form. The Foothills AHEC Student Support Coordinator will be in touch with you to confirm receipt. Review and sign the Housing Agreement and then submit to the Student Support Coordinator. Select one article to read from the following list at this website . Upon finishing the article, click the link below to attest that you have completed this activity. (There is no graded assignment.) Attestation is due before vacating the housing. Statewide AHEC Housing Cancellation Policy: Housing cancellations must be immediately communicated to the AHEC by you (the student) and no other person, including the clerkship coordinator. There is a 30 day cancellation policy for clerkships. If you fail to cancel a housing reservation 30 days prior the start day of a rotation then you are subject to a $200 housing fine and risk forfeiture of future use of all AHEC housing for the remainder of the clinical year. - Pathway to Med School 2024
Congratulation to the 2024 Pathway to Med School Graduating Class! We are so proud of these future physicians as they spent an intensive month shadowing, researching, and preparing themselves for the rigors of medical school and beyond! Thank you to NGPG, Piedmont Athens Regional, MedLink Hartwell , Swanahoochee Pediatrics, Oconee Valley Healthcare, and Legacy Medical Clinic for providing clinical shadowing! Thank you to the AU/UGA Medical Partnership Campus, PCOM-GA, Mercer School of Medicine, and Morehouse School of Medicine for providing guidance on their journey to med school! This program would not be possible without these volunteers. We would also like to thank Piedmont Athens Regional Internal Medicine GME and the Department of Public Health - District 2 for mentoring research projects. We wish our graduating class and 10th PTMS Cohort all the best!
