Foothills AHEC's mission is to partner with communities in our 31-county service area to recruit, train, and retain health care professionals in our region and to improve their supply and distribution in medically underserved areas, ultimately improving the health of our citizens.
Exposing youth and adults to careers in health care by offering outreach presentations, camps, conferences, and resources in collaboration with educational partners
Supporting advanced practice students during community-based training by offering clinical placement assistance, housing, and travel support
Making Georgia a better place to work for health care professionals to provide incentives and continuing education in collaboration with community partners and state leaders
