Preceptors are healthcare providers who choose to actively participate in the education of students by helping us to offer excellent clinical training opportunities. Students benefit from the community-based experience, and the preceptors may benefit from integrating new ideas and techniques into their practices currently being taught in the academic health sciences institutions.
Benefits to our preceptors include:
Assistance to your office by working directly with academic institutions to manage student placement, scheduling, and credentialing
Cost-free continuing education opportunities
Potential eligibility for the Georgia Preceptor Tax Incentive Program
We are always looking for professionals who are interested in participating in becoming a preceptor. If you are interested, please contact our Preceptor Coordinator or call 770.219.8130.
