Travel Support
Foothills AHEC may be able to offer travel support to postsecondary health professions students who complete clinical training at sites located within the 31 counties we serve. Eligible clinical training placements of 2-3 weeks earn a $25 travel stipend. Eligible clinical training placements of 4 or more weeks earn a $50 travel stipend.
Students can receive travel stipends for each completed clinical placement which meets the following criteria:
- Clinical training was completed at a site outside of the county in which the student's educational institute is located.
- The student made his/her own housing arrangements and did not receive AHEC housing support.
To receive travel support, please complete an AHEC Support form for each eligible placement. Forms may be e-mailed to Ashley Carter or faxed to 770-533-9893. You will be contacted by email to confirm we have received your form(s).
