Foothills AHEC is excited to provide Ovid and CINAHL access for our active preceptors and their students. As an active preceptor or student, you may access the CINAHL database or the Ovid database, which offers the following health science databases: Medline, Journals@Ovid Full Text, Evidence-Based Medicine Reviews: Best Evidence, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, and Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effectiveness, and Pre-Medline. Full-text journal articles are available from hundreds of scientific, technical, and medical journals.

Please contact the Outreach Medical Librarian for Ovid & CINAHL passwords.

Ovid and CINAHL is limited to active AHEC preceptors and their students. Password information may not be shared with others. Any unauthorized use of passwords will violate our agreement with CINAHL and Ovid Technologies and could jeopardize CINAHL and Ovid access for all preceptors and students in the AHEC preceptor program. Passwords for preceptors and students are the same for both Ovid and CINAHL and will be changed every 6 months.
