Foothills AHEC Housing
Foothills AHEC student housing is offered upon availability at no cost to you in the following areas:
- Athens - UGA Health Sciences Campus - UGA Health Sciences Campus - 1 Co-Ed townhouse - 4BR/2.5 BA
- Application - UGA Health Sciences Campus Housing (to be completed after housing approved by AHEC)
- Demorest - 1 co-ed House - 3BR/1.5 BA
- Gainesville: 1 male & 1 female townhouse - 2 BR/1 BA in each unit (with 2 beds in each bedroom)
- Toccoa: 1 co-ed duplex - 2 BR/1 BA unit (with 2 beds for same gender roommates in each bedroom)
If you are interested in receiving housing support during your clinical placement, please e-mail Ashley Carter with your request.
If you have already been approved for housing support, please complete the AHEC Support form and AHEC Housing Agreement and email to Ashley Carter or fax to 770.533.9893 to confirm your reservation. You will receive an email confirmation from our office at least 1 week prior to your arrival.
Statewide AHEC Housing Cancellation
Policy:
Housing cancellations must be immediately
communicated to the AHEC by you (the student) and no other person,
including the clerkship coordinator. There is a 30 day cancellation
policy for clerkships and a 45 day cancellation policy for
selectives for all AHEC housing. If you fail to cancel a housing
reservation 30 days prior the start day of a rotation then you are
subject to a $200 housing fine and risk forfeiture of future use of
all AHEC housing for the remainder of the clinical year.
